LOS ANGELES (Oct. 2, 2015) – SQUARE ENIX today released a new infographic for the upcoming DRAGON QUEST HEROES®: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, giving DRAGON QUEST players old and new an in-depth look at the main characters, their background and even weapon of choice.
The title introduces four new protagonists to the franchise including Luceus, Aurora, Doric and Isla who reside in the majestic city of Arba. As the city is overrun by monsters, the group will recruit iconic characters from previous DRAGON QUEST games to ward off the threat including Maya (DRAGON QUEST IV: Chapters of the Chosen), Nera (DRAGON QUEST V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride) and Yangus (DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King) among many other familiar faces known to fans of the franchise.
Story:
A dark cloud has fallen over the city of Arba, driving the once peaceful monsters into a frenzied rage. As either the hero, Luceus, or the heroine, Aurora, the player joins forces with an iconic cast from previous DRAGON QUEST titles to bring the rampaging hordes of monsters to their senses and restore order to the kingdom.
DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below will be available for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system on October 13, 2015 in North America for $59.99. The Day One Edition, including 5 in-game items, is available for $59.99 and the Slime Collector’s Edition is available for $99.99. The Slime Collector’s Edition will feature a premium treasure chest-style box containing exclusive physical items and downloadable content is available for pre-order through the Square Enix Online Store. The title is also available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
