STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – Fatshark today announced that Dreadlands, developed by Blackfox Studios, adds an off-line game mode.
One of the benefits of being an indie developer is that decisions are quickly turned into reality. After the successful early access release on Steam, one of the most requested additions from players was to be able to play Dreadlands off-line. Hence off-line play was moved up on the priority list, and is now included in the game.
“We have had our ears to the ground to try to pick up as much information as possible from the players.” says Peter Nilsson, Founder, and Creative Director Blackfox Studios. “Starting next week, we will do bi-weekly content drops, and the first update will include two new Tactical Cards amongst other things.”
The off-line mode will be automatically updated the next time you log into Steam.
Dreadlands is a turn-based skirmish game set in a living post-apocalyptic shared world. Explore Dreadlands by travelling across its many regions with your misfit gang of miscreants and mercenaries. The game is set in a Shared World where players frequently encounter and interact with each other. Sometimes they cooperate, other times they pick fights in bloody PvP battles.
Dreadlands is avialable for PC via Steam Early Access.
