Techland is thrilled to announce that Winter Tales: Gifts from Above, a fan favorite, will be returning to Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Beginning with the release of Patch 1.20 on December 11th, the celebration will continue until January 2nd.
Got nowhere to go? Let the snow fall!
Even though Villedor has experienced cold weather, its residents are eager to enjoy the holiday season. Where are the decorations that should be on the tree? To decorate the tree and spread holiday cheer, players must collect trinkets, ornaments, and decorations by completing bounties from Baka or loot containers! Players who put in a lot of effort will receive rewards like the Killer Krampus Outfit and Winter Sweets, which they may use at Baka’s stand.
Baka Returns to Dying Light 2 with his festive shack
Baka’s Halloween stand has been replaced with a more festive one that provides some fantastic and unusual things, such as Snowballs, the boomerang-style Skoll, and much more. In order to punish those mischievous zombies, he has also placed an order for new stock that includes the Killer Krampus equipment, such as the Punisher weapon. Players must therefore make sure to look at all of Baka’s products before taking on any bounties!
Additionally, as Baka’s reputation level rises, players will receive a letter that they may mail to Santa via the box next to the stall in order to receive an airdrop filled of gifts. To obtain the full Killer Krampus Gear Set, they must be careful to take part in the weekly airdrop tasks since the rewards will vary.
New enemy:
Uncle Snows is back and more hungry than ever, along with his aides, the Virals and the Naughty Infected. Be wary of the Ice Spitter, a brand-new festive zombie that shoots freezing projectiles. The most powerful Uncle Snows will be protecting valuable airdrops, while Naughty Infected will be present throughout Villedor.
Another 2024 update…
We will be releasing Patch 1.20 concurrently with the publication of Winter Tales: Gifts from Above 2024. It’s the ideal moment to start playing the game for the first time or to come back and discover what else has changed since your last trip to Villedor because this patch will speed up the Prologue and allow players to get into the action much more quickly. In addition, the patch fixes a number of bugs that the community has brought to light, such as the headless Aiden during the stomp animation, as well as issues with crashes and cooperative gameplay.
Two more gifts, too!
Since this is the season of giving, the Above the Law Bundle will be available to all players for free until January 2. Take it and maintain law and order in the city. This bundle, like the Killer Krampus, is all about making sure that those who break the rules are punished.
This is the ideal moment for everyone who hasn’t yet explored the Dying Light universe! Both Dying Light 1 and Dying Light 2: Stay Human are on sale for up to 80% off during this holiday season.
