We had the pleasure of visiting the Gameloft booth during E3, and it appears that Gameloft has a great lineup of games available this year, for both mobile and Nintendo Switch.
First game we tried was Disney Getaway Blast, which has cute character design of original Disney characters. The game is a physics-based puzzle solving game. Disney Getaway Blast is pretty much about exploring and solving hundreds of puzzle levels with exploding tiles and screen-shaking power-ups, collecting Disney and Pixar characters, and matching up and popping enough bubbles to create boosters. Disney Getaway Blast will be available for Mobile devices, iOS and Android.
Next game that Gameloft showcased was Disney Princess Majestic Quest, a game that has puzzles as well as rebuilding the iconic Disney Kingdoms. The game takes you through the various puzzle – there will be at least 60+ puzzles provided, and a new Disney princess story. The player’s task will be to solve puzzles and help the princess to rise as a ruler of the kingdom. This game will be coming out as well on mobile devices.
Gameloft is also releasing Asphalt 9 on Switch. The game is already available on mobile devices but will be coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. The biggest update from the original Asphalt 9 will be that the Switch version will have a split screen mode to play locally with friends and family. Also all the ads from the mobile version will not be implemented so this will be an ad-free version. Asphalt 9 is already a great game, with additional updates and all the new events for Switch will make the gameplay experience even greater.
The highlight of the Gameloft showcase was LEGO Legacy that is coming to Mobile only. The game brings all the real life sets and real LEGO characters to the game. LEGO Legacy is a turn-based battle game with the objective of rebuilding the whole town as well as exploring the world. Players can recruit more characters that are original LEGO builds with special ability, including a chicken suit guy. And the players can collect the whole LEGO set to provide additional booster stats. LEGO Legacy is already looking pretty good and polished and gives you a graphical feeling from a console version. The estimated release date will be around the end of 2019.
