Take out those demons in a hand-drawn frame-by-frame adventure
London, UK – August 14, 2020 – Wildfire Game and bilibili are excited to announce that Eastern Exorcist, a brutal melee-based combat fueled adventure that plays out in a hand-drawn 2D environment, launches in Early Access on PC today.
Eastern Exorcist sees players will take on the role of an exorcist who vanquishes demons with his sword. Fighting through a frame-by-frame animated world infested with demonic monsters, survival is a case of mastering control of said weapon, with combat as dazzling to watch in motion as it is devastating on your foe.
According to Wildfire Game, Eastern Exorcist brings together worlds of melee-based combat with an authentic homage to Chinese Opera. It’s a fast and spectacular take on the action-adventure genre, with the developer setting out to bring a real sense of visual flair to each and every encounter in play.
“Eastern Exorcist is a game where the visuals perfectly marry with the action,” says Shaoyan Chen, co-founder of Wildfire Game. “The hand-drawn action flows perfectly with the combat, and we’ve tried to make it appear as rich and real on screen as it feels in the hands of the person playing it. It’s time for gamers to take on the game’s bevy of beasts.”
Eastern Exorcist Key Features:
