Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. said that three games will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2. The popular game ELDEN RING, which has won numerous game of the year awards, is being brought to the new system by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and FromSoftware, Inc. with ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition. The Nintendo Switch 2 will also see the release of TAMAGOTCHI PLAZA, a new installment in the endearing TAMAGOTCHI CONNECTION: CORNER SHOP series, and SHADOW LABYRINTH, an action platformer with a dark Sci-Fi spin on PAC-MAN and other iconic arcade IP.
The base game ELDEN RING and the main downloadable DLC ELDEN RING SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE are both included in the ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition. Additionally, Torrent’s look can be customized and new armor will be added to the game. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition is scheduled for release in 2025. Other platforms will also offer the extra content in the title.

In the action-packed 2D platformer SHADOW LABYRINTH, created by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., explore a world of mysteries in a darkly inspired homage to the classic PAC-MAN and other arcade icons. The game takes players on an epic journey through a hazardous and maze-like alien world where they must explore, fight, and eat the dark monsters in order to become the planet’s top predator. Players must overcome both familiar and new threats. SHADOW LABYRINTH will be released on July 18, 2025, and may be pre-ordered on the Nintendo Switch later today. Preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be revealed later. There are presently preorders for the title on other platforms as well.

In a fun new casual game, the beloved digital pet and pocket companion Tamagotchi makes a comeback in TAMAGOTCHI PLAZA. Players take on the role of shopkeepers in Tamahiko Town in this most recent installment of the TAMAGOTCHI CONNECTION: CORNER SHOP series. They interact with over 100 Tamagotchi as they establish and expand a dozen distinct stores and improve their standing in the community. On June 27, 2025, TAMAGOTCHI PLAZA will be available for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 and will work with the TamagotchiTM Uni device.
