Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released Evil Dead: The Game – Game of the Year Edition, available today on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store and, debuting for the first time, on Steam. Experience the complete blockbuster action game, already devoured by over three million players, featuring co-op PvPvE multiplayer, single-player missions, and the intense new Splatter Royale mode, with full crossplay and an army of bonus content from six premium DLC sets worthy of the King.
Evil Dead: The Game – Game of the Year Edition packages the full base game with a massive variety of goodies from multiple DLC sets, including the “Classics Bundle,” “Army of Darkness Medieval Bundle,” “Evil Dead 2013 Bundle,” “Hail to the King Bundle,” and “Immortal Power Bundle.” Unlock bonus playable Survivors and Demons with unique powers and abilities, including Mia, David, Ruby, and the Blacksmith. A ton of groovy cosmetics are also part of the package, including the Ash S-Mart Uniform outfit, Ash Gallant Knight outfit, and Ash Savini Alternate outfit. Players will unlock a number of in-game items that have been added to the game in post-launch updates since its original release, as well.
In addition, Game of the Year Edition owners get the new “Who’s Your Daddy Bundle” DLC, launching today on all platforms (the DLC is also available as a standalone purchase for $9.99). Storm the battlefield with new playable Survivor and Demon characters, as well as new outfits, inspired by the STARZ television series “Ash vs Evil Dead,” including:
- New Survivor – Brock Williams: Ash’s old man himself, Brock is immune to knockbacks and has several auras he can unleash to help his squadmates with his active skill. These auras change dynamically based on how many Williams family members are on the team.
- New Demon – Schemer: Based on the notorious demon boss Baal, the Schemer is a trap specialist who confuses Survivors with illusions. His Meat Puppets inflict increased damage with a variety of attacks based on the fear levels of the Survivors.
- New outfits for Ash, Amanda and Pablo.
Evil Dead: The Game – Game of the Year Edition is available today for $49.99. PC players can grab the title for 34% off ($32.99) on Steam and the Epic Games Store for a limited time.
Finally, today all Evil Dead: The Game players will receive a bonus new single-player mission. Play as Kelly to track and hunt down the demon Eligos in this winter wonderland-themed challenge to unlock her free “Stay Frosty” outfit.
Inspired by the iconic horror, humor and action of the long-running Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead: The Game brings the biggest names together in a pulse-pounding battle with the forces of darkness, brought to life with off-the-wall gore and visuals. Work as a team of four Survivors in co-op to kick Deadite butt and banish the vile Kandarian Demon – or become the Demon yourself, using its powers of possession to stop the good guys and swallow their souls!
Play as your favorite characters from every era in the franchise – with even more Survivors and Demons released after launch. Use your wits and a wide variety of weapons to survive the night in standard 4v1 multiplayer, single-player missions, and the new fast-paced Splatter Royale mode for up to 40 players, with full crossplay between consoles and PC.
Evil Dead: The Game is officially licensed to Boss Team Games from Renaissance Pictures, leading European production and distribution company STUDIOCANAL, leading entertainment company Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), global content leader Lionsgate and premium subscription platform STARZ. The game is developed and published by Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games to bring the first multi-platform console and PC game to life based on The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn, and Army of Darkness films, and the STARZ “Ash vs Evil Dead” television series.
