FAMILY GUY: Another Freakin' Mobile Game Introduces New Arena Battle Event and VIP Subscriptions for Fans

Jam City brings PvP Play and Its First VIP Subscription to Humorous Hit Game

LOS ANGELES – Today, Jam City, a Los Angeles-based mobile entertainment studio, in collaboration with FoxNext Games, announced two new ways for fans to play the match-3 hit mobile game, FAMILY GUY: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game. Beginning November 21st, players are invited into the ring for the debut of the Arena of Ultimate Destiny, a limited-time PvP event that brings elements of combat and strategy to the game. Later this month, superfans of the game can access more of Quahog’s irreverent fun with a new VIP subscription, bringing a host of humorous benefits that offer more prizes, gameplay and silliness to players in an ongoing, monthly package.

Marrying match-3 gameplay with combat mayhem, the all-new limited-time Arena of Destiny event will run from November 21st through November 25th, as the game’s first PvP event. Players can deliver damage to their opponent by making matches on the puzzle fight screen, with bigger matches delivering a bigger wallop.

Features of the Arena of Ultimate Destiny include:

Choose a Griffin – Players can select Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie or Brian with each having a special fighting ability – and prepare for ‘roshambo’-style battle!

  • Equip with Buffs – Gain strength and protect your Griffin fighter in combat by obtaining powerful buffs. Buffs include Shield, which protects a fighter from taking damage, Attack Up, to deal more damage for the duration of a fight and Speed Up, which accelerates innate fighting ability.
  • Brace for Combat – Deliver damage to opponents by making mighty matches within the puzzle fight screen. Bigger matches and strategic use of power-ups ensure more damage to your rival, in this head-to-head, last-man-standing battle.
  • The Spoils of Victory – Players that win the required number of matches receive special prizes and a unique in-game collectible. Following each battle, players can re-energize their fighters by tapping them or utilizing their coins during the cool-down period, to get back into the Arena!

Beginning November 22nd, FAMILY GUY: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game will introduce Jam City’s first monthly game subscription, offering fans a new option for their play. By becoming a VIP subscriber, players will receive benefits including an increased life cap, 10 percent faster life renewal, and a daily VIP Box, featuring rewards like Unlimited Lives, complimentary coins and other in-game goodies.

“FAMILY GUY: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game’s new VIP Subscription offer gives fans exclusive access to content allowing them to progress through the game faster, experience more Griffin humor, more gameplay and more exclusive in-game prizes,” said Vanessa Rouhani, Vice President of publishing at Jam City. “We’re thrilled to be offering our very first VIP Subscription at Jam City to the devoted fans of FAMILY GUY: AnotherFreakin’ Mobile Game and these wonderfully crass characters.”

Players can subscribe to FAMILY GUY: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game’s VIP Subscription, starting on November 22nd.
