Developed by Sanbondo and published by Phoenixx Inc., Fantasy Maiden Wars – DREAM OF THE STRAY DREAMER – is a bullet hell tactical role-playing game set in the Touhou universe. It presents an epic tactical story on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch in 2025.
Developer Sanbondo’s global release of Fantasy Maiden Wars, which was previously only available to Japanese viewers, creates a complex story from a variety of sources. The best Touhou story ever told is created by combining aspects from popular fan creations with the original Touhou Project story, bringing together many threads from the fantasy world of Gensokyo.

The enchanted Marisa and Shrine Maiden Reimu hold the key to the destiny of women. Combine offensive skill with strategic placement to win turn-based combat as mysteries appear all across Gensokyo. Look for the cause of odd events and drive evil out of the country. For extensive destruction, plan crushing melee attacks and carry out distant bullet-hell-style attacks.
Take control of the battlefield with well-known faces, assembling a flawlessly balanced team from a roster of over 70 characters, each with unique abilities that can swing the tide.
