Collector’s Edition and Standard Edition Available with Special Pre-Order Bonuses
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 24, 2017) – SQUARE ENIX, Inc. announced that pre-orders for FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Stormblood™, the highly anticipated second expansion for the award-winning MMORPG, begin today in North America ahead of its scheduled release on June 20, 2017. The title will be available physically and digitally in both a collector’s edition and standard edition for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Windows PC, and in digital-only form on Mac OS.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Collector’s Edition
The FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Collector’s Edition includes exclusive goods and in-game items for players seeking to further enhance their Stormblood experience. The collector’s edition package features the following:
- FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood
- Stormblood Special Art Box
- Expertly Crafted Zenos yae Galvus Figure
- FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Art Book
- Cloth Map of Eorzea™
- Stormblood Logo Sticker
- Exclusive In-game Items
- Syldra Mount
- Wind-up Bartz Minion
- Chicken Knife
Players who pre-order Stormblood will also receive exclusive bonuses:
- Early Access to Stormblood scheduled to begin on June 16, 2017*
- A Wind-up Red Mage Minion
- A pair of Ala Mhigan Earrings
- Exclusive Theme and Avatar (PlayStation® Network purchases only)
Players who pre-order either the physical or digital versions of either edition will obtain the pre-order bonuses. Additionally, a digital upgrade option will be available for players that want to upgrade to the collector’s edition for the in-game bonus items, but forego the physical items.
For newcomers, a complete edition bundle including FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward and FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood will also be available in June 2017 upon release of Stormblood. Pre-order bonuses are not available with this edition.
FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood is scheduled for release on June 20, 2017, and will continue the story of the Warrior of Light as they join the resistance and set forth to the vast land of Ala Mhigo, challenging new threats across Eorzea and embarking on numerous new quests. Players can also look forward to the following new features coming with Stormblood:
- A new level cap increase (60 -> 70)
- Multiple new jobs, including the recently announced red mage
- Exploration of underwater environments with swimming and diving
- Battle system updates
- New beast tribes and primals
- New dungeons
- High-level raid: “The Bend of Time – Omega”
- New alliance raid: “Return to Ivalice”
- The Forbidden Land of Eureka
- New gear and crafting recipes
- A fourth residential district
- Expanded item inventory and more!
New and lapsed players are urged to join their fellow adventurers in uncovering the mysteries of A Realm Reborn and Heavensward, as completing the main scenario quest series will be required to fully enjoy Stormblood.
