Gaming Cypher’s Trevor Provencio and BamfAce had the pleasure of previewing Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – First Assault Online by Nexon America and Neople.
Here are their thoughts,
Trevor Provencio-
“First Assault is a very interesting take on a FPS in terms of gameplay. The hide and seek type mode I played was very reminiscent of the search and destroy mode on Call of Duty but also felt like a Halo game. I liked how it is not traditional in and does not try to be like the popular first person shooters of today like the recent Call of Duty games meaning it is definitely a unique game. A critique of mine is that the weapons system was sort of limited – only getting an assault rifle at specific parts of the game and ammunition was limited which makes it sort of hard for it to be a first person shooter. But otherwise it was a very fun and entertaining game.”
BamfAce –
“Well this was my first time playing a Ghost In The Shell game and I had the privilege to try out the new First Assault game mode. This can best be explained as hide and seek. Once I was on the seeking side I felt all the power. Then when I was hiding I felt as if I should have had more than bullets to defend myself. All and all First Assault is a great game to play.”
