Square Enix Collective has announced that 2D cinematic adventure, Forgotton Anne, will benefit from a major update this summer adding multiple languages to play. As a result, the game – which launched to critical acclaim across PS4, Xbox One, and Steam back in May – will soon support Russian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese and Polish.
The team over at Throughline Games has also decided to mark this update with the release of a brand new accolade trailer, highlighting some of the best reviews Forgotton Anne received from across the games media. The studio is also excited to announce Forgotton Anne will also be part of the Steam sale, offering gamers the chance to buy the anime-inspired adventure with a 25 percent discount.
“This marks the next stage in Forgotton Anne’s journey, and we’re really pleased to bring the game to new gamers, adding language support for scores of new countries and, indeed, support for Steam players on Mac as well,” says Alfred Nguyen, Creative Director and Co-founder of ThroughLine Games. “We’ve really enjoyed putting together the new trailer to mark the occasion – some of the reviews we received really touched us.”
Finally, Square Enix Collective has revealed that Forgotton Anne is now available on Steam for Mac, adding scores of Apple gamers eager to explore the mysterious Forgotton Lands to its roster of players.
Forgotton Anne is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
