Garena celebrated the 4th anniversary of Free Fire, the global smash hit title which was the most downloaded mobile game of 2020 and 2019, by producing the world’s largest projected video game display onto the side of the historic Tropicana Las Vegas Resort.
Partnering with Limelight Projection Mapping and WorldStage, Garena ushered in the anniversary with a massive 3D light art display with a full projection size featuring over 1.6 million lumens of light.
Garena breaks World Record with the largest project video game display
While celebrating Free Fire 4th Anniversary, Garena and Limelight also partnered in creating the largest projected video game display ever, covering 46,733.65 square feet, shattering the current World Record by more than double and officially marking its entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The brightest attractions on the Las Vegas strip also included a 5-minute original production by limelight featuring a unique combination of Limelight’s signature architectural mapping and Free Fire’s beloved game characters, creating a one-of-a-kind marriage of original 3D artwork and 3D video game design. The event was also accompanied by a performance by local Las Vegas musician Percussia to celebrate the record breaking Free Fire 4th anniversary.

In addition to the real world celebrations taking place in Las Vegas, Globally renowned DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, and KSHMR have also come together for Free Fire’s 4th anniversary theme song, ‘Reunion’.
Fans and players around the world will be able to play as the world renowned DJs in Free Fire. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike join the likes of Alok and KSHMR who have taken their collaboration into the game as characters. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s characters will be launched and available to players from 21 August. Log in to Free Fire then to check them out!
