The people of Hyrule require a hero as enigmatic rifts start to form throughout the region. Princess Zelda must safeguard her realm since one particular swordsman is missing.
Zelda herself plays the lead role in the September 26 release of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, a video game for the Nintendo Switch family of platforms that follows her quest to solve a mystery that threatens to overtake the entire Kingdom of Hyrule. She travels to both extremes of the country on this expedition, staying in the densely forested houses of the Deku Scrubs and the dry desert of the Gerudo tribe.

Rifts might swallow the kingdom, and Zelda’s great intelligence might not be sufficient to crack the code by itself. Zelda is able to make echoes, which are imitations of real-world items, with the aid of the ethereal creature Tri and the potent Tri Rod. Zelda will be able to get past barriers and solve riddles by echoing objects, such as old beds and wooden boxes. In addition, she has the ability to produce echoes that she can use to her advantage in battle against hostile adversaries, and even to have the opponents fight alongside her in subsequent encounters! The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom tests player inventiveness and Zelda’s knowledge. Zelda will use her newfound abilities to “Bind” and “Reverse Bond” objects—allowing Zelda to follow an object’s movements or the creature’s—with Tri’s assistance. This will allow you to discover hidden routes and come up with several strategies for getting past obstacles or solving problems. You can link yourself to a flying object and momentarily soar through the skies, or you can make a boulder “follow” you to access a hidden region. You have the final say!
