At gamescom 2024, the new gameplay trailer (seen below) for Delta Force, the latest installment of the Delta Force franchise, made its global debut and featured a sneak peek at exclusive gameplay. Prior to its early access release in Q4, Team Jade said that Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops) will be playable during Steam Next Fest.
Team Jade changed the game’s name to Delta Force and unveiled the revamped gameplay footage during Opening Night Live at gamescom. Fans may catch a peek of the new Brakkesh extraction map in the gameplay clip, which also highlights the variety of weapons. After announcing their Summer Game Fest, Team Jade recently revealed that Delta Force had been wishlisted on Steam for more than 1.5 million times. Players can anticipate fresh gameplay features and reveals for Delta Force during Steam Next Fest in October, ahead of its early access launch.

Players may take advantage of hands-on gaming experiences, photo ops, and unique merchandise during Delta Force’s gamescom entertainment hall premiere throughout the conference. The new free-to-play tactical shooter Delta Force will include extensive multiplayer options, an action-packed campaign for both single and cooperative play, a vast weaponry for personalization, and more.
The two multiplayer modes available in the current Alpha test are:
- Havoc Warfare is a 32-player style of play where teams engage in combat on two enormous, real-world landscapes (accessible in the Alpha). They use a variety of military vehicles, including tanks and aircraft, to defeat the opponent on the expansive, living battlefields.
- Hazard Operations: Gather three allies and go up against other teams, AI-controlled mercenaries, and Royal Guards. While PvE-focused objectives can be performed for lucrative rewards, players will be kept on their toes by random events spread over three massive landscapes (accessible in the Alpha).
