The final phase of the gamescom award 2017 has begun: the Jury, consisting of German and international games journalists, as well as well-known YouTubers and Co., have named the nominees. Prior to this, over 100 entries had been submitted to the gamescom award office. More than 50 new products and stands qualified for the final round of the gamescom award 2017. This year, winners will be distinguished in a total of 23 categories. The exhibitors and visitors of gamescom (22 to 26 August 2017) are now eagerly waiting to see who will be able to take one of the coveted trophies home with them after the festive award ceremony on the social media stage (Hall 10.1, stand F-070) on Thursday, 24 August, 5:00 p.m. Only a game that has also won a category can claim the “best of gamescom award”. The gamescom “Most Wanted Consumer Award” will also be conferred. With immediate effect and up until Thursday, 24 August, 2:00 p.m., fans and visitors of gamescom can vote for their favourites via the official gamescom app.
