Launching August 1st, Basketball Stars Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, Isaiah Thomas, and Lonzo Ball Will Captain Teams Featuring FaZe Clan and top PUBG MOBILE Content Creators and Super Fans
PALO ALTO, CA – PUBG MOBILE is proud to announce Team Up Superstar Showdown, a four-episode digital series featuring basketball superstars Ben Simmons, Lonzo Ball, Andre Drummond, and Isaiah Thomas serving as captains for teams consisting of PUBG MOBILE superfans and content creators. eSports superstars FaZe Clan will also be deployed for battlefield action and special guest Giannis Antetokounmpo will make his presence felt in the competition just as he did during his MVP winning 2018 – 2019 season.
Every moment of the event, from the prelims that forge the teams, to the rigorous training sessions, to the final championship matches, will be showcased in these episodic installments available via PUBG MOBILE’s social media channels starting August 1st, with additional episodes premiering August 3rd and 6th, and the finale airing on August 8th.
Teams will compete in PUBG MOBILE’s new 4v4 Team Deathmatch Mode. Designed for fast-paced action, the new mode tests players’ ability to work as part of a team in order to prove who’s truly the best superstar shooter in the world.
