Gone Home, the acclaimed first-person adventure exploration game originally developed and published by The Fullbright Company in 2013, will be available on Nintendo Switch on August 23, 2018. In partnership with Annapurna Interactive, the title will retail for $14.99 on the Switch, allowing an entire new set of players to experience the groundbreaking game five years after its initial launch. Gone Home was previously available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, Linux and PC. In addition, fans can also expect a physical release and vinyl edition of the soundtrack in the future, created by iam8bit.
Gone Home is an interactive exploration simulator, where players are invited to interrogate every detail of a seemingly normal house to discover the story of the people who live there, uncovering the events of one family’s lives by investigating what they’ve left behind.
Critically acclaimed for its compelling narrative and engrossing explorative gameplay, Gone Home was presented a BAFTA Award and Game Developers Choice Award in the year of its release and now celebrates its fifth anniversary with the Nintendo Switch launch.
