GRID Legends is an upcoming racing game by developer Codemasters and publisher Electronic Arts. The game is heading to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC February 25 and is bringing a fresh feel with some unique storytelling at the same time.
GRID Legends has an amazing story mode that has a unique documentary-like cinematics and which carries on to some amazing graphical gameplay. During the cutscenes, it feels like you are watching a movie or a tv-series, which are very immersive, and definitely worth a watch.
At the same time, the gameplay is equally impressive. I personally love more arcade-like racing games, and when trying out GRID Legends, I was a bit skeptical of how it would feel. I was amazed that GRID Legends felt like a great balance between simulation and arcade-like feel.
Also, the connection of story mode to the races is very smooth as even the racing keeps you connected to the story. The AI opponents and control of the car feels amazing. So do the graphics and racing locations.
I am definitely looking forward to GRID Legends as a whole and see what it can bring to the full story of the game, after the devs squash some bugs here and there. And, GRID Legends feels like a worthy entry in the series and as a racing game.
GRID Legends is heading to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam February 25, 2022.
