Boston, Mass. – January 15, 2016 – Today Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. is announcing the addition of three new tracks to the Rock Band Music Store for Xbox One and PlayStation 4! Releasing Tuesday, January 19th, are songs from Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and grunge super group, Temple of the Dog.
Formed by members of both Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog released “Hunger Strike” in 1991, ultimately peaking at #4 on the US Billboard charts. With dual lead vocals from Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder, “Hunger Strike” offers great vocal gameplay as well as phenomenal guitar, drum and bass parts. The early 90’s theme continues with Soundgarden’s hit single, “My Wave”, the band’s 4thsingle from the band’s megahit album Superunknown. The last song is “Wicked Garden”, a song never released as a commercial single, yet widely considered a career defining song from Stone Temple Pilots. Featuring lyrics written by Scott Weiland, “Wicked Garden” brings the driving rhythms, atmospheric guitar play and brooding vocal performance that Stone Temple Pilots is famous for.
These tracks can be purchased individually for $1.99.
