Rockstar Games is happy to announce updated content in GTA Online.
Independence Day 2022 in GTA Online
3X GTA$ on Land Races, Business Battles Bonuses, Discounts on Patriotic Gear, and More
Los Santos and Blaine County are celebrating this week, including bonuses on American pastimes and deep discounts on all sorts of patriotic gear.
3X GTA$ on Land Races
Storm and slipstream your way past your competitors in Land Races this week to edge the rest of the pack out and earn 3X GTA$, all week long.
To sweeten the pot, Racers who complete all Independence Day Special Land Races — Across the Wilderness, Mud, Sweat and Gears, Swamp Monster, and Tour the Lake — will receive a bonus to the tune of GTA$200K (delivered within 72 hours of completion).
You can launch these Races by heading to the Featured Series icon on your map or by using the Quick Join function on your iFruit.
Business Battle Bonuses and Rewards
Capitalism is one big competition and Business Battles are one of the best ways to find out who wants to succeed the most. Keep an eye out for them firing all week long — taking part in Business Battles anytime through July 6 will pay out triple the usual GTA$ and RP.
Meanwhile, retrieved crates might contain the Pisswasser Beer Hat, Benedict Beer Hat, Patriot Beer Hat, Supa Wet Beer Hat, or Statue of Happiness T-Shirt. Because nothing says “stylish and healthy patriot” like a hat specifically designed to deliver alcohol into an awaiting gullet.
2X GTA$ and RP on Lester Contact Missions
Lester Crest’s reputation precedes him — as one of Southern San Andreas’ most successful career criminals, the FIB and other agencies are constant flies in his prescription-strength ointment. Help him out of various binds in Lester Contact Missions to earn 2X Rewards, all week long.
3X GTA$ and RP on Running Back (Remix)
This week marks the return of a selection of modes with chaos woven into their very DNA: Overtime Rumble, Overtime Shootout, Inch by Inch, and Running Back (Remix). Make sure to get your kicks in while they’re available to play.
Everyone loves an underdog story. Case in point: Running Back (Remix), where a pint-sized Panto either barrels its way into the end-zone or gets obliterated in the process. Two teams of Tezeracts duke it out to protect or destroy the tiny hatchback on its mission — and everybody involved gets 3X GTA$ and RP for risking life and limb.
Only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
Hao’s Premium Test Ride: Principe Deveste Eight
Hao’s Special Works is in the business of upgrading and pushing vehicles beyond their manufacturer’s wildest expectations and imaginations — this week’s Premium Test vehicle is a pearlescent Principe Deveste Eight with myriad tweaks under the hood and a coat of Chameleon Paint to put it over the top.
Hao’s Special Works Time Trial
Put all those tune-ups to good use by flooring it between North Chumash and Palomino Highlands in this week’s HSW Time Trial.
This Week’s Prize Ride: Bravado Gauntlet Classic
Dogged competitors who duck and weave and take shortcuts to place in the Top 5 in Street Race Series for three days in a row this week will get a Bravado Gauntlet Classic for their efforts.
Give the Pegassi Ignus, Pegassi Tempesta, and Pegassi Zentorno a Spin
Maybe you’d like to spend a little time behind the wheel of something foreign and luxurious. The LS Car Meet Test Track is Pegassi-crazy this week, so pay a visit and see how the Ignus, Tempesta, and Zentorno fare between the columns, all at no cost. All three vehicles are on sale this week as well (more on that below).
