On October 31st, Guns of Icarus Online turns four years old. Despite hurricanes, vicious publishers, and office fires, it has kept its doors open. To celebrate these four years, they are giving away over 200,000 full copies of the game.
These copies are going directly to players who have supported them for the past four years giving them a community they are constantly astounded and humbled by. Every player that has subscribed to their newsletter, something players do during account creation or through the website, will receive a full copy of the game to give to the person they think will be best to join them in the skies.
The celebration doesn’t end here though. There are more items to receive by signing up for the newsletter. In the coming weeks players, both old and new, will be receiving free costumes and cosmetics to celebrate the 4 year anniversary.
All of this is gearing up for the open beta of Guns of Icarus Alliance at the start of November where players will have a chance to try new spectacular ships, massive guns, and unique game modes all over the backdrop of a massive mmo war.
