Premise:
Guns of Icarus Alliance is a game by Muse Games. This team-based game focuses on airship-to-airship combat, where the only way to win is to work as a team because in these skies you will be facing co-op teams from around the world.
Not only will you be facing other players, but also AI and they are relentless. Skynet, step aside! In this game, you can choose to play as Captain, a merciless Gunner, or clever Engineer. You will face rival factions as you battle to take over territories and control resources.
Gameplay:
This game has a multitude of options — starting with deciding whether to play as a Captain, Gunner or Engineer or just deciding what kind of ship you want. Everything in this game is based on strategy. Once you have picked the character type you want to play as, you begin the customization process.
The game allows you to set up three presets for each character, which is extremely useful. This game is strongly based on strategy and being able to set up different characters with different gear enhances the game play. Each item you equip your character with will help you in battle. Some items will help increase the amount of ammo your Gunner can carry while other can help you with repairs, enhancing the ship and its guns.
There are also special abilities you can choose and unlock, which if used correctly can be extremely fun and devastating to your enemy. There is nothing more satisfying than charging your ship full speed ahead and tearing through your opponent like tissue paper. There are three things that are essential to winning this game: customizing your character, working as a team, and of course, customizing your ship is essential.
his game has endless hours of fun, whether you are playing co-op or PvP. The world is ever expanding with more people joining everyday. You are never locked down into one faction because you can switch whenever you want. If you are one of those people who enjoys playing every level and discovering every possible outcome a game has to offer, good luck because I don’t foresee anyone ever experiencing everything this game has to offer. Between all the different people joining and the missions and the territories to conquer and defend, this will be a lifelong game that will be worth your time.
