Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas Announced at PAX East 2014

Blizzard has announced the HearthStone: Heroes of Warcraft’s single-player adventure mode, Curse of Naxxramas at PAX East 2014.

Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas features the following:

• Unique wings of the dungeon
• 9 Class Challenges that when completed, will reward players with new class-specific cards
• 30 new cards
• Unique game board complete with interactive corners
• Hero Powers earned by defeating bosses such as the “over-sized arachnid Maexxna, the fungal horror Loatheb, plague cauldron master Heigan the Unclean, and the shambling abomination Patchwerk

Curse of Naxxramas will open wing by wing over the course of five weeks, with the first wing, The Arachnid Quarter, becoming available for free for all Hearthstone players. The following wings can be purchased with in-game gold or real currency. As each wing is released, the cards available will also show up in a player’s Arena picks, even if they have not earned them for personal collection.
