Heavy Metal Machines New Update Features Ranked Mode

Heavy Metal Machines New Update Features Ranked Mode

Florianopolis, Brazil – Hoplon, the developers behind post-apocalyptic car-combat MOBA, Heavy Metal Machines, today announced the launch of its new in-game ranked mode.

Contributing to another aspect of Heavy Metal Machine’s competitive universe, the ‘Ranked Mode’ focuses on the individual performance of each player, which was previously provided by the Leaderboard. ‘Ranked Mode’ is a special match search queue, separated from Casual Mode, in which the matches played are accounted for an individual player score. The score is calculated with each player being placed in a Division; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Heavy Metal.

Ranked Mode will be divided into seasons, with each season lasting a few months. At the end of the season, players will receive exclusive in-game rewards according to the highest Division they reached during the current season. To enter the new mode, players need to have at least five completed matches in their game account (custom matches do not count).

In addition to the new ranked mode, Heavy Metal Machines can now be played with a Game Pad, allowing players to have more choice with how they want to play, whether it’s with the keyboard and mouse, or a controller.

The gamepad will expand the accessibility of Heavy Metal Machines, and now new players that already enjoy racing games with a gamepad will be able to jump straight in with ease.

Rodrigo Campos, CEO commented:

“We are thrilled to be announcing the new Ranked Mode for players, and the reintroduction of game pad support. With Heavy Metal Machines, we feel there is a playstyle for each individual, and with the new ranking system this allows each player to shine. Our tournaments are open to all, no matter their skill level, so there’s no excuse not to just invite your friends and team up, to take on the competition.”

The fifth season of the Metal League starts on August 10, 2019 and features seasonal tournaments with weekly qualifiers stages which are open to all player with no entry fees.
