Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide Developer Fatshark Needs Community’s Help in Naming Their Great Sword

STOCKHOLM, Sweden –  July 14th, 2015 – Independent developer Fatshark Games announced today that they want help from the community with the upcoming co-op action game Warhammer – End Times Vermintide.

We have a billboard at Fatshark where everybody in the staff can suggest a name for the various weapons in Vermintide. We’ve gotten some great suggestions for most of our weapons, but for some reason, this specific Great Sword has remained unnamed.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “Instead of going with one of the names on the board, we’ve therefore decided to start from scratch with your help. What would you call this Great Sword?”

The best name submitted, and decided by Fatshark, will be the official name of the Great Sword in the game. Furthermore, the person suggesting that name will end up in the credits of Vermintide and also a copy of the game.

In Vermintide, the city of Ubersreik is under siege as players select from a band of five heroes with different play-styles and abilities, all equipped with unique gear and personalities. Working together cooperatively, players must use their individual attributes to survive an apocalyptic invasion from hordes of relentless, power hungry Skaven, across a range of environments stretching from the top of the Magnus Tower to the bowels of the Under Empire.
