Don VS Dodo, a development studio, and Toplitz Productions, a publisher, are pleased to announce that Industry Giant 4.0 is now available via Steam Early Access. One of the cult series from the turn of the 2000 is back with a bang after more than two decades.
The fundamental elements of Industry Giant, which has been embraced by gamers for decades, include building dozens of industries, expanding infrastructure, introducing production chains from resource gathering up to end consumer sales, monitoring your company’s finances, and having a direct impact on the development of nearby cities.

Even now, the allure of those elements and the underlying difficult business simulation remains. However, the development studio, Don VS Dodo, speaks to more people than only the franchise’s seasoned fans.
“Of course we are aware of the cult status that the franchise achieved, but with Industry Giant 4.0 we rely on much more than sheer nostalgia or cult status. Our re-imagining of the classic gameplay is based on the franchise’s core principles, but modernizes all elements without sacrificing depth. We are convinced that both veterans as well as newcomers to business simulations will enjoy the game,” states Matthias Lutz, co-founder of Don VS Dodo and game producer.
The next stage of Industry Giant 4.0 development will begin with the release into Early Access. The community response will be one of the studio’s main themes. Players’ feedback is crucial because the game’s basis is in place, and there are now many industries and around 80 producible commodities accessible for would-be business giants. During the Early Access period, community requests will be fulfilled in addition to the introduction of new content and extra gameplay components or features.
On the journey to version 1.0, the roadmap provides an overview of the anticipated material that will be released in the upcoming weeks and months.
