SAMARA, Russia – May 5, 2016 – Studio MONO’s Kickstarter for Unreal Engine based RPG, InSomnia has achieved $26,045 (£17,000) in pledges by over 850 backers in just seven days! The Russian developer now sets its dieselpunk sights on funding.
“We’ve had an incredible first week at Kickstarter. The Prologue has been downloaded over 5,000 times and received some valuable feedback and hugely entertaining Let’s Play videos. We’re flabbergasted to have already raised an incredible 30% of our target!” said Anatoliy Guyduk, lead developer at Studio Mono.
“The team at Studio Mono are working extra hard to convey a moody and detailed world with InSomnia, and it shows. They are creating a rich world that I want to know more about!” – Fallout creator Brian Fargo.
InSomnia is dystopian vision, set in a murky, retro-futuristic style. The game takes place on a colossal, semi-deserted interplanetary space station. Having left their dying planet behind, this space metropolis, along with its inhabitants, has been moving towards the distant, ghost-like Evacuation Point for the past 400 years, where the descendants of the once great people hope to start over the history of mankind.
