Take on the Role of a Detective Tasked with Cracking the Case of a Lifetime in Assemble Entertainment’s New Investigative Adventure
WIESBADEN, GERMANY – Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer TriTrie Games are thrilled to announce today that their investigative full-motion video (FMV) game Jessika will launch on Steam this summer. Jessika is an intensely emotional and intimate FMV role-playing experience where you, as a private investigator, must dig through the victim’s extensive digital footprint and locate video clips, audio files, and notes, all of which play a defining role in the series of unfortunate events that led to her untimely death.
Convinced of foul play, Jessika’s father has hired you to uncover the truth. What appears to be a textbook suicide — at least, at first — may prove to be your career-defining moment. With only your laptop and an unrivaled determination for unearthing the truth, you’ll need to locate clues and keywords embedded within Jessika’s tangled online presence to piece together what really happened.
“We’re thrilled to bring the unique and captivating Jessika to our audience,” said Assemble Entertainment CEO Stefan Marcinek. “It is a distinctive entry in our publishing catalog and represents a refreshing genre peer to the likes of Her Story and Telling Lies. Whether you enjoy FMV games or a good investigative drama-mystery, you will want to check out Jessika.”
Jessika was nominated for the German Developer Prize in UbiSoft Blue Byte’s prestigious Newcomer Award category, part of the Ubisoft Education initiative that aims to prepare promising new developers for an extensive career in the video games industry.
Jessika will be available for Windows PC via Steam and other digital platforms for $12.49 USD later this summer. You can wishlist the game right now.
