Fechtbuch
One of the crucial elements of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is medieval combat, which Warhorse Studios developed similarly to the other aspects of the game, i.e., as faithfully as possible, in order to show how medieval warriors really fought. The documentary Fechtbuch is a record of what the developers learned in pursuit of that goal, and a guide to some of the secrets of historical martial arts. Leading Czech and Slovak fencers cooperated with Warhorse Studios to create an outstanding fighting experience.
The 60 minutes “Fechtbuch: The Real Swordfighting behind Kingdom Come” documentary (formally known as “Combat Academy”) was a former Kickstarter Stretch Goal and will be free for Backers on Steam & GOG. Others can purchase the fully synchronized (English/Czech) movie for $3.99 / €3.99 / £2.99.
