Klang 2 is a rhythm-action game developed and published by Tinimations. My first impressions of Klang 2 are of its techno magical feel, with its upbeat and catchy music and vibrant colors used in each stage. The game starts out with the player as Klang, trying to fight enemies and bosses using fancy moves and gear. You try to defeat these enemies using one of three dance moves: the fiery circle click, the sliding triangle dodge, and the square hold. Each move needs both precision and timing accuracy, as the player is judged on how exact the timing is for each move. Based on performance, the attack patterns change, but get too many wrong, and you will fail the stage.
Gameplay and Exploration:
Klang 2 starts off with a good introduction including the tutorial, and the practice room where you are allowed to play selected stages, each with its own music track and movements. The first few stages that I played had great music and audio quality as well as good animations. The game rewards you well with accurate performance, as the dazzling stage is shining whenever you get a perfect move off, and enemies go far away when you defeat them with precise and calculated attacks. At the end, you are given a grade based on your accuracy.
Once you get past the first few practice stages, you are given a chance to unlock a story stage with your tokens, which you earn based on your performances of the practice stages. The story stage consists of specialty tracks, with colorful and exciting music as you face the boss missions. Oftentimes, you are faced with a different style of rhythm or a variation of a dance move, which you will need to adapt to in order to clear the stage. After defeating the boss, more stages with a new song each are unlocked, allowing you to be able to have more variety in picking and choosing which stage to play.
Customization and Thoughts:
There are many ways to play Klang 2, making it accessible to anyone. This includes hotkeys on your keyboard, a tablet, mouse, and even controller! Furthermore, difficulties can be edited and changed based on your prior experience and comfort level, making it so that its progress is streamlined and not too difficult for rhythm game beginners. Furthermore, Klang 2 is very flexible in letting you pick and choose which songs to advance your story quest on. With its 30 different stages, each with unique music, graphics, and rhythm style, there seems to be a stage that everyone will enjoy.
I greatly enjoyed playing Klang 2 with its electronic-theme rhythms and music. The game ran well throughout, with no visible bugs or glitches. Furthermore, gamers of all ages and experience levels will be able to enjoy Klang 2 with its multiple difficulties and flexible, yet rewarding, story system and level selection. I would recommend Klang 2 to not just rhythm game players, but also fans of electronic music as well as anyone who is interested as well.
I give Klang 2 an 8/10.

Steam Review
I started gaming on the PS2 playing 2K and various fighting games, then played a lot of Nintendo Wii games. Currently, I like playing JRPGs as well as platformers and MOBAs. In a video game, I enjoy exploring the intricacies of fighting systems as well as viewing various character developments throughout the story of the game.
