Louis Castle Takes Command at Amazon Game Studios Seattle

AGS is excited to introduce you to the newest member of their team: Louis Castle, co-founder of Westwood Studios, and the new head of Amazon Game Studios, Seattle.

If you’ve ever played a Real-Time Strategy game, you know Louis’ work – he and his team created the beloved Command & Conquer franchise, pioneering the RTS genre along the way. With more than 100 games to his credit at developers like EA, Zynga and Kixeye, Louis is no stranger to creating blockbuster experiences in every genre. From Dune 2 and The Lion King, to Blade Runner and Boom Blox, we’re huge fans of his work and thrilled to have Louis on board.

A BAFTA and GDC Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Louis is jumping right in with the team on Crucible, the competitive multiplayer action game that’s built for streaming. And that’s not all. He’s also bringing his trademark passion for innovation to bold new game ideas that will connect global communities of players, broadcasters, and fans.
