MapleStory 2 adds new Dungeon Helper system, skill rebalancing, and Maple Life updates in today’s Skilled Ally following player requests.
With the new Dungeon Helper system, new players will be able to pair with veteran MapleStory 2 players for assistance when encountering difficult dungeons helping them progress in the game more efficiently.
A major skill rebalance for Job Rank II skills has also been applied to several classes focusing primarily on ramping up less popular skills trees to provide players with greater choices. This update was based heavily on player feedback and will continue to be adjusted as class balance is re-examined in the future.
Maple Life updates have also been integrated in this update including a 90% permanent price reduction to all overworld house plots’ purchase, rent and contract extensions, the addition of Meso house assistants, and new Arcade-themed blocks added to the list of available housing blocks.
For a limited time, players can also participate in summer-themed events including:
- Patch Day Login Reward: Players level 10 or higher who log-in within a day of the update can get a head start on the Lucky Box event to gain rewards that will help them progress in the game.
- Summer Rewards: Level 10 players and higher who log-in daily can obtain quick in-game rewards such as Elixirs, Onyx Crystal and invaluable enchanting materials.
- Pink Bean Letter Collection: Players can collect letters to spell out Pink Bean’s name to receive unique rewards including a new Dance Emote and a Pink Bean-Themed Air Mount!
More details on the update can be found on the v15 Patch Notes.
