In honor of Mario Kart 8 releasing soon on Wii U, Nintendo released a new Mario Kart 8 Direct video.
Reggie Fils-Aime announced an offer at the end of the video, which promises that those who order and register Mario Kart 8 at Club Nintendo, will receive a free download code for one of four Wii U digital games.
The offer is valid for players who purchase Mario Kart 8 and register the game any time between May 30 and July 31st. The four downloadable games are:
- New Super Mario Bros. U
- Pikmin 3
- The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker HD
- Wii Party U
In addition, the Mario Kart 8 Wii U Hardware Bundle has been confirmed at a suggested retail price of $329.99, which includes the following:
- Black Wii U system
- Mario Kart 8 game
- Wii Wheel Accessory
- Wii Remote Plus Controller
Next, President Satoru Iwata came on for a few seconds and announced the new trailer that immediately follows.
