Video game music label Materia Collective has released the digital album MEGA REMIX MAN.EXE. The album is produced by Billboard-charting video game music remixer RoboRob and is now available on all major music and streaming platforms. The Compact Disc version ships out July 16 and vinyl available in Q1 2022 (pre-orders available now).
With the collaborative efforts of co-producers Flexstyle, Ben Briggs, Baircave, Epikuro, arthur x medic, Shady Monk, and VGR, RoboRob set out to make something unique and in a different direction than the main MEGA MAN sound. The album consists of unique renditions influenced by hip hop, jazz, electronic dance, and more.
“This album is a love letter to the composers of MEGA MAN and an envisioning of what legacy the music might sound like if produced today,” said RoboRob. “Using modern production and sound design techniques, our producers breathed new life into these classics while holding onto the nostalgia that makes each of these songs so great.”
MEGA REMIX MAN.EXE is available on streaming platforms and for MP3 download today.
