Mojang announced that the Minecraft 1.7.3 pre-release is finally here.
The most notable changes in 1.7.3 compared to 1.7.2 are as follows:
- Added integrated Twitch broadcasting! See below for details.
- Fixed render distances above 8 (may not work in multiplayer, servers have their own view distance they limit you to)
- Many bug fixes and optimizations!
Note that the Twitch integration is only supported on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 as well as Mac OS X Lion 10.7 or higher.
