More than 300 Teams Compete for Glory in PUBG Mobile Club Open Group Stage Sponsored by Vivo

Teams from different regions begin battling with Group Stage kicking off this Friday, April 26

LOS ANGELES – The world’s best PUBG MOBILE teams will begin their quest to take home part of a $2.5 million USD prize pool in the inaugural PUBG MOBILE Club Open 2019 (PMCO 2019). Leading global technology company, Vivo is the official title sponsor, providing smartphones to empower players’ conquest at the competition with ultra-smooth gaming experience. 

Beginning this Friday, April 26, more than 300 teams divided across different regions will battle against each other in the Spring Split Group Stages with the top 24 teams advancing to the semi-finals. The PMCO 2019 regions are China, Europe, India, Middle East, North America, South America, South East Asia and the Wildcard for teams that are not included in any of the regions listed.

Leading global technology company, Vivo is the official title sponsor of the PMCO 2019, providing smartphones to empower players’ conquest at the competition with ultra-smooth gaming experience. The PMCO will culminate this July, as the top 16 teams will compete in the Spring Split Global Finals in Berlin, Germany. Another Fall Split is planned for later this year.

The PMCO 2019 Spring Split began in March, with more than 30,000 teams from around the world participating in official in-game qualifiers for a chance to earn a spot in the Spring Split Group Stage in their respective region.

There are familiar faces among the teams who qualified to the Group Stage, including the PUBG MOBILE Star Challenge Champion Team RRQ, and the PUBG MOBILE India Series Champion Team Soul. These two teams really have gained a lot of attention and we shall see how they perform in the Group Stage which will kick off on April 26. The 32 teams from each region will battle against each other and top 24 teams from each region will advance to the semi-finals! Stay tuned for the PMCO semi-finals on our website.
