Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today revealed a new Mortal Kombat 11 signature Sub-Zero themed character skin inspired by international DJ and actor, Dimitri Vegas. Featuring Vegas’ likeness and incorporating updated voiceover work from the artist, the upcoming “Dimitri Vegas as Sub-Zero” character skin will be available as a free download for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners on Aug. 22 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Previously, Vegas partnered with the Mortal Kombat 11 team to remix the iconic Mortal Kombat theme song, a cultural staple of the Mortal Kombat franchise since the 1995 film. The remix was prominently showcased in the Mortal Kombat 11 Launch Trailer, released this past April. He also created an original music track titled “You’re Next,” which was featured in the first Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Reveal Trailer back in January.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, PC and Nintendo Switch. The Kombat Pack is the best way to upgrade the Mortal Kombat 11 game experience with new downloadable content (DLC), featuring six characters – Shang Tsung(avail. now), Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn and two fighters to be announced at a later date. The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack also includes numerous skin and gear sets and one-week early access for all content. Players can purchase the Kombat Pack as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition for $99.99 (SRP) or individually for $39.99 (SRP). All DLC characters and bonus character skin packs will be available for individual purchase after the one-week early access period.
