With great pleasure, Milestone and MotoGP announce the release of MotoGP 24. Available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam is the most recent chapter of the official MotoGP videogame.
Check out the MotoGP 24 Launch Trailer:
MotoGP 24 incorporates the Riders Market for the first time, fulfilling one of the community’s most awaited requests and signaling a turning point in the franchise’s history. This year, cyclists in every category will have the option to switch teams and even get promoted to a different class. Players will be able to monitor roster updates during each in-game season, which will allow them to encounter fresh, thrilling challenges and situations each year. The options are virtually limitless because players and the AI may be suggested to switch sides in response to their on-track performance. Furthermore, in order to replicate the dynamics of real discussions, AI-controlled riders’ decisions will take into account both the present values of the other bikes on the grid and their future perspectives.
For example, even though they aren’t imminent title contenders, a mid-table team may be able to recruit a top rider if they consistently put up strong results that show they are on the rise. Crucially, the Riders Market builds on the pivotal moments, rivalries, and fictitious social network that were introduced the previous year to create a journey that revolves around the decisions and performances of every participant. Such an approach will be followed and emphasized by The Riders Market; players will be able to keep an eye on rumors about potential future transfers through a special career mode menu, as rivalries and likes and answers on the made-up social network evolve.
MotoGP 24 further blurs the line between gaming and real-world racing by introducing the MotoGP Stewards. They will oversee the race and any scheduled sessions over the course of the weekend, penalizing riders and AI equally for their behavior on the track. In the event that rules are broken, both AI and players will experience repercussions. These can include canceled qualifying times, long lap or time penalties, warnings, and orders to let pass in the case of unfair overtaking. It’s interesting to note that reckless riding will intensify rivalry among bikers.
Milestone has improved the Neural Aids that were released the previous year and created a new Adaptive Difficulty system that will be extremely beneficial to all players, regardless of experience level. This innovative approach considers a number of variables and real-time measurements to gauge the opponents’ skill level according to players’ results across races and sessions. In this manner, it offers a customized game experience while guaranteeing a fair and steady race pace among competitors.
All fans will be able to fully enjoy the AI and physics enhancements made by the Milan-based team thanks to the Adaptive Difficulty. The artificial intelligence has been improved to mimic the genuine cyclists’ style of racing. While rookies will attempt to prove their value immediately away, seasoned winners will wait for the ideal opportunity to launch the winning attack. In terms of game mechanics, the way the corner entry and departure phases are handled has been redesigned to create a far more forgiving gameplay experience than in prior iterations. Players now have more opportunity to demonstrate their gaming prowess and experience the maximum level of realism as they approach the edge of physics in a more controlled manner, all thanks to a more fluid power delivery system. Additionally, tyre management has evolved to ensure that every compound performs on every track while preserving a unique feel for every kind.
In terms of multiplayer functionality, the MotoGP 24 online experience is improved with the LiveGP Championships. The goal of this new multiplayer mode is to challenge the most competitive players to move up the Championship leaderboard overall by winning points at certain events. Moreover, Cross-play enables gamers to challenge one another from the start, independent of platform and system generation. The two-player local split-screen option is accessible for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam versions when offline.
Lastly, MotoGP 24 allows users to express their creativity with four robust editors for race numbers, helmets, stickers, and butt patches. Share your creations online with friends on many platforms.
For the MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 classes as well as the FIM Enel MotoE World Championship, MotoGP 24 is now playable on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam platforms. It features all of the official riders and tracks of the 2024 season.
