N. American PUBG CONTINENTAL SERIES 1 GRAND FINALS Crowns SHOOT TO KILL

SANTA MONICA, CA – JULY 6, 2020 – Following two weeks of intense competition, Shoot To Kill (STK) took home their most impressive Chicken Dinner yet as they emerged victorious over their North American competition at the PUBG Continental Series 1 (PCS1) Grand Finals on Friday, July 3. Continuing their momentum from week one of the Grand Finals, STK defended their lead to secure the first-place position and $50,000 USD in prize money. Meanwhile, the fifteen other teams will receive their share of the $200,000 USD prize pool based on their final placement.

STK endured an incredible final-day performance from the second-place squad, Wildcard Gaming, who managed to win three of the five matches on Day Four, setting up a winner-take-all scenario in the final match. It was then that STK rose to the occasion and erased the twelve-point deficit that they faced coming into the final match.

Throughout the tournament, STK established themselves atop the leaderboard with commanding performances across the four-day tournament. STK was even able to bounce back from an uncharacteristic outing on Day Three, where the team watched as their closest competitors closed within striking distance.

Ultimately, the team had one more great performance in store for the PCS1 tournament and reclaimed the top position during the final match by a tiebreaker of total kills, crowning STK as the PCS1 North America Champions. Fans who were not able to watch live can still check out the matches by visiting the PUBG eSports YouTube channel.

PUBG Esports fans will not have to wait long for the next event as the PUBG Continental Series 2 (PCS2) North American Group Stage begins on Friday, July 24 and will take place over the following three weekends.
