2K Sports announced that NBA 2K14 will be releasing on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but not on Wii U.
Senior Vice President of Sports Operations, Jason Argent, said “We are not doing a Wii U version this year. The decision was made internally that resources would be best put toward building a really, really amazing current-generation and next-generation game and we did not want to take resources away from creating amazing experiences on all those platforms.”

The game releases for current generation consoles on October 1 with next gen release date to be announced at a later date.
