NETMARBLE Voted by App Annie to be among TOP 5 Mobile Game Publishers of 2018

SOUTH KOREA  Netmarble Corp. is among the top 5 parent companies for combined global consumer spend on iOS and Google Play in 2018, according to the latest report from mobile research firm, App Annie. Netmarble joins Tencent, NetEase, Activision Blizzard, and BANDAI NAMCO, respectively — all gaming companies.

Netmarble was also included in the top 10 positions for mobile games in 21 countries, including the US/Canada (6th place,) Mexico, Brazil and the UK (4th,) France (5th,) Korea, Thailand and Indonesia (2nd,) and Hong Kong and Singapore (1st.)

Key titles in the Netmarble catalog that saw great success in 2018 include mobile MMORPG game Lineage 2 Revolution, which tests the limits of the Unreal Engine 4 with unprecedented visuals and a massive scale, and fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions (published by Netmarble subsidiary Kabam,) which allows players to assemble a mighty team of super heroes and super villains from the Marvel Universe for exciting battles.

2019 promises to be another successful year for Netmarble, as the publisher has a promising slate of exciting titles to be launched in the near future, including BTS World, which combines Korean pop culture with a mobile game experience, The King of Fighters All Star, an action RPG based on one of the most famous fighting game franchises in the world and Project M, which utilizes the strong IP of the original trading card game Magic: The Gathering. In addition, Netmarble will release Rich Wars, the successor to its casual board game made popular in Asia, to the global market, and two other games called Yokai Watch: Medal Wars and The Seven Deadly Sins which are based on the famous manga IP’s and will be released to the Japanese market.
