In anticipation of its release later this year, developer The Fine Arc has released a new update for Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef, a Lovecraftian action-roguelike cooperative dungeon crawler. From now until June 9, the game and a number of other First Break Labs titles will be available for purchase on Steam Early Access.
Today’s release of the Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef Update features:
- Map Editor with Mod Browser Integration: Download other players’ maps and make your own utilizing Act 1 and Act 2 components.
- Rebalancing the flamethrower makes it more ferocious and chaotic, burning through fuel more quickly and escalating the action.
- Incantations: Adjusted to allow for more thorough strategic deliberation.
- Bugfixes: A number of fixes to make things run more smoothly.

Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef is Steam Deck verified and is currently accessible for PC via Steam Early Access. From now until June 9, 2025, the game is available on Steam at 15% discount.
Other First Break Labs games that are now on sale on Steam through June 9 include David, Neighborhorde and Spingun (70%) and Entropy Survivors (35% off) as well as Warside (15%).
