- Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club – It’s almost time for the second episode of the episodic demo of the game Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club! A paper bag with an unsettling smile written on it covers the dead body of a pupil. The victims of Emio, the Smiling Man, an urban legend murderer who is supposed to give his victims “a smile that will last forever,” are very similar to this scenario. Take up the role of an assistant private investigator for the Utsugi Detective Agency, entrusted with assisting the authorities in learning the truth about this horrific incident. It bears similarities to a string of unsolved homicides from eighteen years ago. Start exploring the demo in Chapter 1 and pick up where you left off when Chapter 2 goes live later tonight on the Nintendo eShop. Chapter 3 will be available for play on August 27 in the evening. Players who purchase the full edition of the game can transfer over their progress, so there’s no need to worry about losing their case notes. On August 29, Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club will debut.
