On June 20, Outright Games released details about their upcoming video games, PAW Patrol World and Jumanji: Wild Adventures.
PAW Patrol World
Outright Games is excited to announce the September 29, 2023, release of PAW Patrol World, the biggest PAW Patrol game ever, designed with the littlest gamers in mind. With its open-world gameplay, adorable story, and loads of accessibility features, OG Games aims to revolutionize young gamers’ gaming experience.
An Open-World of Possibilities
Unlike previous level-based PAW Patrol games, PAW Patrol World provides an open world of exploration. Players can explore Adventure Bay, Chase’s Mountain, and the town of Barkingburg while collecting collectibles and helping citizens. The game’s open world has been carefully curated to balance the freedom of wide open spaces and guidance systems to ensure younger players don’t feel overwhelmed.
Puppy Power
All the beloved PAW Patrol team is unlocked from the beginning of the story, and multiplayer can each play as their favorite pup, saving parents from having to break up sibling fights. Each pup brings something different to the game, and players can quickly switch between pups to play as the one with the abilities needed to complete a mission.
Story Time
Players will get to see all of their favorite heroes and villains in action in the new game. Mayor Humdinger plans to hijack the PAW Patrol Day Festival by scheduling his own kitten festival and advertising it in a really loud and annoying super-blimp. Players will do their best to make sure the Paw Patrol Day Festival can go off without a hitch.
Gameplay and Features
Young gamers are the focus of Paw Patrol World, and the game delivers a wide range of features to entertain and enhance gamers’ experience.
- Players can customize their characters and vehicles by adding stickers unlocked through sandbox exploration.
- The game is fully voice-covered, ensuring that tiny gamers just learning their ABCs can still play and understand.
- Co-op mode means siblings and parents can get in on the action, either playing as the same pup or splitting up to puzzle out the missions.
- Accessibility is the name of this game, with automatic camera control, a paw-based-bread crumb system, and a Ryder Hint system to keep young gamers from feeling lost.
PAW Patrol World will be released on all platforms on September 29, 2023.
Jumanji: Wild Adventures
After the huge success of the first release, Outright Games and Cradle Games are back with the highly anticipated sequel, Jumanji: Wild Adventures.
Set for release on November 3, 2023, this new installation in the series promises more adventure, gameplay variety, and multiplayer action. With an expanded world, plenty of challenges, up to four-player co-op, and a story that can be slightly different every time, players are set for a wild gaming experience.
Story
The story for Jumanji: Wild Adventures is entirely new, involving the theft of the Jewel of Jumanji. Players must find the thief and return the jewel by exploring the Jumanji jungle. There are lots of bosses lurking in the levels, though, with both human and animal bosses ready to attack at any moment. Bosses appear randomly each time players start a new game, meaning that players could discover the jewel there right away, or they may have to tromp all over the world to find them.
Gameplay
The game offers a four-player couch co-op system so players can combine the skills of each of their favorite Jumanji characters to tackle traps and enemies. Gameplay scales depending on the number of active players and increasing enemies, so everyone gets an action-packed experience.
Enemies range from baboons, giant stinging spiders, wolves, and all kinds of wild animals to human villains, each with their own unique abilities.
Jumanji World
The new game has expanded environments, allowing for a more diverse and immersive game. From volcanoes to temples, the game offers a lot of variety. Players can search for collectibles throughout each level, including the scattered letters of JUMANJI. Players can exchange their treasure and loot for upgrades, power-ups, and special items.
Difficulty
In Jumanji: Wild Adventure, greater difficulties don’t just mean more enemies. Players at increased difficulties will face stronger and deadlier bosses. If you and your team fail in your mission to recover the jewel, depending on the difficulty setting, you will find yourself restarting further back in the game and having to re-do larger areas in order to reach the same spot. Obviously, the devs are as devious as the jungle of Jumanji.
Jumanji Wild: Adventures is set for release across all platforms on November 3, 2023.
But wait, there’s more!
Outright Games didn’t stop at their upcoming releases; they also provided a sneak peek at some previously unannounced games.

I love all video games, from open world sandboxes on a console to a mindless match three on my phone.
