Launching on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, Overbeast, is a free-to-play, casual massively multiplayer augmented reality (AR) game from XR pioneer, Keiichi Matsuda and his studio Liquid City, in partnership with Verizon. In Overbeast, players are immersed into a parallel dimension where spectacular creatures can be seen battling or peacefully grazing across their city’s skyline.
Overbeast aims to bring communities together to power their city’s beast, and following launch, players will have the opportunity to join The Ultimate Overbeast League to battle neighboring regions for supremacy.
