OVERWATCH League Contender SEOUL DYNASTY Acquires Heo "Gambler" Jin-woo

Contending Overwatch League Team Rounds Out Roster with Dedicated Support Player

SEOUL – Feb. 26, 2018 – Overwatch League contender Seoul Dynasty moved to acquire Heo “Gambler” Jin-woo prior to the league’s critical Stage 2 split. Gambler provides proven Overwatch esports success, extensive main healer knowledge and valuable game sense to give Dynasty an extra competitive edge.

The team’s scouting and recruitment efforts reflect the need to add depth to Dynasty’s healing efforts. Gambler will provide strong support alongside veteran Dynasty main healer Yang “tobi” Jin-mo, previously the sole designated in-game healer for the squad. Gambler is among the top-ranked Lucio players in Korea and is regarded as one of the most competitive Mercy players in the world, who largely contributed to his former team’s victory at IEM Gyeonggi 2016. He completes Dynasty’s full twelve-player roster, adding to an increasingly stacked lineup.

“It’s a great honor to join Seoul Dynasty and represent my home city in the Overwatch League,” said Heo “Gambler” Jin-woo. “I will work hard to familiarize myself with the team’s strategies by focusing on team buildingwith my new teammates and coaching staff. My number one goal is to help our team win the league.”

“We’ve finally assembled our perfect roster. Stage 1 provided us insight into each team’s strategies and matchup potentials,” said Coach Baek Kwang-jin. “Now we are working to create new strategies by incorporating and coordinating with Gambler. You can expect to see us perform with innovative tactics during Stage 2.”

Seoul Dynasty kicked-off Stage 2 of the Overwatch League with a commanding 4-0 victory over LA Valiant on Feb. 21. Stage 2 playoffs and finals begin in March 2018. The games for all stages of Season 1 are scheduled to take place at Blizzard’s new eSports venue in Burbank, California.
