PAX South 2018 Impressions: SLEEP TIGHT

Sleep Tight is a castle defense, twin-stick shooter from indie developer We Are Fuzzy. It will be coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam summer of 2018 to scare the socks off all the little kids.

Sleep Tight looks like it could be a movie tie-in with an upcoming Pixar film. It isn’t, though. Instead it’s based on the imaginary games we would play as kids before the Atari came out. Build the ultimate pillow fort to keep those scary monsters away from you as you blast them away with one of several powerful weapons. Weapons like dart guns, burst rifles, water soakers and much more. Survive wave after wave of monsters for as long as you can. Hide behind your own forts and let your turrets do all of the work, or just run-and-gun John Woo style. Every round is only one minute long, but that one minute is filled with relentless monsters out for blood.
