Upstairs Games’ first realistic industrial space simulator, Possible One, is slated to launch in Early Access on PC via Steam in 2025. The game is developed using contemporary technologies. When Possible One: Lunar Industries makes its public debut this week at PAX West 2024, play it for the first time.
Check out the Possible One Reveal Trailer:
Assume leadership of the building and manning of a permanent lunar base, humanity’s flagship endeavor to establish essential facilities away from the gravitational pull of its mother planet. Utilizing drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, survey the craters with rovers, and construct dwellings, reactors, hydroponic systems, and other experimental facilities, lay the project’s foundations.
Oversee a diverse group of crew members, including scientists, engineers, physicians, mechanics, and agriculturalists, from the time of their hire until their arrival on the moon. Take into account the crew’s serious, real-world problems, like as radiation exposure, the physical difficulties of living in zero gravity, and the effect being thousands of kilometers from home on Earth has on morale.
Use equipment and methods that are unique to humans to harvest the richness of undiscovered resources hidden beneath the lunar dust. Engage strategically with each stage of the process required to establish a lasting human presence in space. The future is right under Shackleton Crater’s debris!
Co-founder Asaf Baitner said, “From the 1970s to now, humans have been fascinated by the new frontiers of outer space, but we consume so much sci-fi media that we forget what we’re able to accomplish in the here and now. We wanted to bring realism into the challenges of the space colony management genre, to re-ignite the excitement people have for what’s theoretically possible now.”
You can add Possible One to your Steam wishlist. For more information, visit Possible One: Lunar Industries’ official website, follow Upstairs Games on X, and hop on the official Discord server.
