I had the pleasure of visiting the Ubisoft booth at PAX West 2017 and here are my impressions of Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Assassin’s Creed Origins brings players back to the AC universe with a revamped control scheme and a new combat system. The new control scheme goes hand in hand with the new combat system. Holding a button to activate free run mode no longer exists. Combat feels much more like a third-person action/RPG without the use of magic. The game takes place in ancient Egypt, and it is beautiful. The environments pop with little details everywhere. There is also a new ability to fly an eagle that can mark targets. It all looks promising, and is a new direction for the series.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be released October 27, 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more information please visit: assassinscreed.com

I was born and raised in a town so small there were more cows than people. I joined the USAF as soon as I could, and I currently reside in San Antonio. I am a singer/songwriter on the side, but I've been a gamer since birth. I grew up with PlayStation and Nintendo, though, I don't discriminate between consoles and PC. I have a PC with a 3080, Steam Deck, and a PS5.
